Poppy are a stunning female covers duo- singing great harmonies in pop
and rock songs from current commercial radio stars like Missy Higgins,
Pete Murray, Bernard Fanning and Kylie Minogue, plus a range of
classics dating right back through to the 60s- like Crowded House,
Sheryl Crow, Powderfinger, Dido, Green Day, Coldplay, Madonna, U2,
Cyndi Lauper, Van Morrison, ABBA and The Beach Boys.
Performing
at Hotels, weddings, Town and Country Clubs, Races, Festivals, RSLs,
resorts, garden centres, birthdays, and business functions like
Christmas parties or fundraiser events, Little Poppy have established
themselves on the Queensland, New South Wales, and Victorian scenes as
a fantastic covers outfit to make your event the best it can be!

Claus was chosen to record backing vocals on Pete Murray’s first two
albums, for Paul Kelly (on Bill MacDonald’s Four Hours Sleep album
2006), as well as live backing vocals for Angie Hart (Frente!) and
Steven Cummings (The Sports) plus lead vocals in her own former Triple
J High Rotation band Gorgeous, & her new self titled band: see

Merri-May Gill has had huge success in
Australia’s festival circuit, as well as three Edinburgh Festival
seasons & various other UK & US tours, performing comedic songs
(see www.ewe.net.au) to packed houses…but she also has a serious side,
for which she was signed to Hot Records.

extraordinary performers are teamed as Little Poppy to bring fun covers

Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia with their
amazingly beautiful voices, harmonies, guitars and bass (Merri-May
plays rhythm guitar, while Fi alternates between lead guitar and bass
